They fixed the problem fast. Good game

I love this game so much and I had purchased this game when I had my iPod. Now I re downloaded it on my iPhone 6 and re downloaded it only to discover that all my saved were lost. This is really upsetting, because I just needed to max out the characters levels as I had already beat the game. Are there any fixes for this, because I dont want to start all over again.

I was so blown away by the amazing graphics for an iPhone game. The gameplay is simple and easy to follow. All the characters are lovable and their stories, while some may be a little generic, were captivating and make you completely fall in love with them. I especially love how after the completion of each character, the gene skills are saved so that you dont have to train them as hard as the first couple. Unlike most of the reviewers, I love the Japanese audio. Ive always preferred Japanese voice actors over English voice actors, especially if the game is specifically designed for Japanese voices. All of the voice actors are very talented so the different language doesnt take away the fun from the game. Overall I enjoyed playing this game very much and highly recommend you buy this game. But remember, you have to remember to finish all of the characters to unlock a hidden story.

Not full screen for iphone 6 !!!!

This is hands down the best rpg on the apple store. There is so much depth. You need to pay attention, to understand whats going on.The story here is amazing even if the gameplay is a little dull at times. Dont let the high price-point scare you away, you get your monies worth.

I just got this new iPhone 6 and I bought this game just to find out that there is no sound. Please fix quickly!! I cant stand to play a game with no sound or music or anything!

The storyline is one of those where you cringe at, cry for, and fall in love with all at the same time. Although Im a little confused...on playing through the game to the end on both character combinations, I found more story was unlocked? Unsure if this was an update or just bonus material for beating the game, would have preferred that to have been made more clear somewhere. Anyway, the gameplay is probably a little simplistic for experienced RPG players, but the story and graphics make up for it.

I just bought this game and every time I open it, it automatically kicks me out of the app. So please fix the bug I really want to play this game

I live turn-based RPGs so imagine my delight when I happened upon this game! The storyline is intriguing and the graphics are gorgeous. It is, after all, a Square Enix game so I expect as much. I havent yet finished it but Im sure I will play it over and over until I have unlocked everything there is to unlock.

I wish more apps would follow this model and get rid of IAPs. This game is fantastic and Im happy to pay the one-time price to enjoy a complete, well-made game. Very impressed.

updated: now I get to replay the experience on my brand spanking new iPhone plus and new iOS 8.4! 

I purchased this game originally on my iPhone 3G, and I am amazed at how this game still upholds its quality after 5 years. Chaos Rings is not necessarily a technically marvelous game, it was the first RPG of its quality on iPhone, and you can get most avid lovers of the genre to buy anything with Square Enixs name on it. The visuals arent astounding- the character models and battles exhibit standard PS1-style graphics, and world exploration features 3D models roaming 2D backdrops, akin to the PS1 era Final Fantasy games. As far as gameplay goes, its fairly standard for a turn-based RPG- nothing that those familiar with the genre havent seen before. But what really makes Chaos Rings exceptional is its dark, emotionally evocative storyline. The game features 8 playable characters (4 different couples) existing inside parallel timespaces. The actions and fate of other characters will differ depending on which couple you decide to play as. Even though the storylines are fairly short- lasting about 3-4 hours each- the characters featured in them undergo a substantial amount of character growth from beginning to end. Each and every individual that enters the Ark Arena are deeply flawed: some are murderers, some are afraid, and some hold grudges. The overarching narrative of Chaos Rings is not about overcoming these flaws, but accepting that they exist and that humans become stronger because they suffer. A lot of higher-end games could learn from Chaos Rings. Even with the most current technology and graphics, few stories prevail as Chaos Rings did in emulating raw emotion and creating real, human characters with depth and intrigue.

So I bought this game but now it wont download. . . Please help me squareenix.

I downloaded the game and it crashes at the same scenario: the introduction. I cant play the game because I cant skip the introduction and I cant get through the introduction either because it keeps crashing. Please fix this as soon as possible!!

The game keeps crashing at the same spot during the intro. It looks fun and I would like to play so please fix ASAP

Dont download if you have iOS 9. Game will crash no matter what.

As others have stated, crashes on iOS 9. This seems related to the voice overs. I turned the voice volume all the way down in the settings to shut them off and it appears to be working now. Played for a couple hours without any other issues. Please fix!

Crashes in the intro

I absolutely love this game!! The only problem is I cant play it anymore. The game crashes during the intro scene. Please fix this!!!

i have the iphone 6+ and the game keeps crashing right in the beginning of the first scene and kicks you out of the game it doesnt allow you to play...please fix this problem since we are paying to play that game
